Recitals and Concerts
In addition to performing as a wedding string quartet, Manor House Music have developed quite a following for their popular themed classics concerts (held usually in Buckinghamshire Churches), but are increasingly being asked to perform more serious chamber works for recitals, concerts and arts festivals.
With an extensive repertoire of music written for Violin and Viola duo, or for Violin and Cello duo we have the flexibility of offering recitals of works for duo, trio or full string quartet. As experienced musicians for arts festivals, the group are happy to collaborate with organisers wishing to hire chamber muicians who are able to come up with imaginative programming.
Our players have performed at many music clubs and appeared at music festivals including the London Festival of Chamber Music, the Buxton, Thaxted and Rye music festivals, Tanglewood, Ravinia, Aspen and Sarasota festivals in the USA.
The members have also performed at the Wigmore and Cadogan Halls, St Martin in the Fields, for various music societies and appeared live on BBC Radio 2, Radio 3 and Classic FM. The quartet's Christmas discs are regularly performed on Classical radio stations throughout the world, including Classic FM in the UK.

To Vaughan and playing partner, This is just a little note to say a huge 'thank you' from both myself and Anne, for laying on such a wonderful, enjoyable and professional performance. I not only speak on behalf of Anne and I, but we thought you would like to know that the vast majority of our guests on the day commented on how much they enjoyed the music - and most of all your classy and thoroughly friendly approach that helped Anne and I enjoy the day even more! Kind Regards, James and Anne (Wedding at the Courtyard Marriot Hotel, Milton Keynes)
