Manor House String Quartet are committed to bringing high quality, professional chamber music into the community - by offering workshops or tailor made short concerts to groups of people who might not otherwise get the chance to discover classical music.

The String Quartet offer conversational recitals where we can talk informally about the works we are about to perform, or fun educational workshops for schools, hospitals, senior citizens groups, arts festivals or community projects, keeping the concerts light and entertaining. Manor House Music also perform regularly in rural churches around Buckinghamshire. This makes classical music accessible to those people for whom travel into a town or city may prove difficult.

For those studying music or who wish to improve their own chamber ensemble skills, we are happy to come along and offer coaching or individual advice on all aspects of performing chamber music - either for established ensembles or groups who wish to have lessons from experienced professionals and develop the skill of playing music together with others.

As many of the players within the group also teach privately or at the London music colleges, we are experienced with coaching at different levels and happy to work with individual needs.
