Woburn Sculpture Gallery Wedding String Quartet

Woburn Sculpture Gallery Wedding String Quartet – On Friday 15th August we returned to a very regular and local venue for us: The Sculpture Gallery at Woburn, Bedfordshire. This magnificent setting is equally suited to the string quartet¬†or string¬†duo and on this occasion the quartet played a selection of uplifting classical pieces as guests assembled in anticipation of the bridal entrance. The chosen piece of music which accompanied the bridesmaids as well as the bride and her father, was Pachelbel‚Äôs Canon in D major. You can see our rendition of it here (although we can play it at whichever speed you’d prefer!):

During the signing of the register the tone was lighter with Des’ree’s ‘Kissing You’ and Take That’s ‘Greatest Day’ providing the backdrop to this particular formality. The bridal couple then exited to ‘It Must Be Love’ by Madness.

The wedding party enjoyed a wonderfully sunny afternoon at Woburn and we joined guests outside and entertained them with a lively and varied selection of rock and pop arrangements for string quartet. These were enjoyed and commented on by many guests and we left the celebrations just as all of the bridal party went indoors for the receiving line prior to the wedding breakfast.
