Wedding String Duo at Hinwick House, Beds

Wedding string duo at Hinwick House, Beds – It’s always a delight to return to one of our favourite venues, Hinwick House in Bedfordshire. It combines wonderful architecture in a beautiful setting with welcoming staff who make life easy for guests and wedding suppliers alike. For this particular wedding, we played as a string duo, providing music as guests entered the main ceremony room. The bride entered to Pachelbel’s Canon and we performed pieces by Bach, Saint Saens and Vivaldi during the signing of the register, before launching into ‘It Must Be Love’ by Madness for the exit of the married couple.

Sadly, heavy rain prevented guests from enjoying Hinwick’s grounds during the reception, but this didn’t dampen spirits in a wonderful celebration. Our string duo (consisting of violin and cello) then set up in the wedding breakfast room and duly played the bridal couple in. As there were in the region of 200 guests, it did take¬†them a¬†while to acknowledge all of their friends and family and we played James Brown’s ‘I Feel Good’ as they made their way to the top table.
