Wedding at Newland Hall, Essex
On Saturday, we were delighted to return to one of our favourite venues – Newland Hall, near Roxwell in Essex. This time around, we weren’t required during the wedding ceremony itself (which took place in a local Church), but were on hand to provide music during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast.
As the weather was slightly changeable, most of the guests gathered within the permanent marquee which is located at the far end of the lawns. We played a lively selection of contemporary and light pieces which went down very well with guests. After the newly married couple were announced and grace was said, we continued to play for a further hour and a half as guests enjoyed the wedding meal.
