Wedding in Daventry United Reform Church
Last Friday we played for a wedding that took place in the United Reform Church in Daventry. This venue is tucked away in the centre of the town and is a charming 18th century chapel. The guests all arrived and took their seats very early so the string duo (consisting of a violin and viola) kept everyone entertained with a selection of classical piece which had been selected by the bride and her Father.
We then performed at various points during the service, including the signing of the register and exit of the married couple. Guests then assembled in the chapel for 15 minutes before making their way to the reception at Ashby St. Ledger.
