Last Saturday the string quartet played for a wedding at the tasteful setting of St. Edward’s School in Oxford. We have been having a late burst of good weather so despite being in October, this was one of the finest Saturdays of the year.

The whole event was enclosed within the school grounds with it’s picturesque buildings and began in the chapel which was situated on the far corner (overlooking the green). We provided music as guests entered and settled down, then at various points during the ceremony – including the hymns.

After the service had finished, the guests poured out of the church onto the lawns next to a splendid marquee. We foundĀ a much coveted shaded area and set up outsideĀ to entertain guests for the next hour and a half, concluding as they began to enter the wedding breakfast.
