Wedding at Aldermaston Manor, Berkshire

By vaughan • October 2, 2011 • Posted in: Weddings

Last Saturday, Becky and I played for a wedding in the splendid setting of Aldermaston Manor, near Reading in Berkshire. We started playing as guests arrived for the reception drinks and were positioned at the bottom of a large staircase adjacent to the bar. As guests passed through, they were able to hear the music on their way to the gardens at the back.

We then relocated to a shaded area at the back of the Manor House, whilst guests enjoyed the beautiful autumn sunshine and drinks. Many people were delighted by the combination of classical string duo and the upbeat and varied music we were playing.
