Wedding at the Barn at Bury Court
On Friday, the quartet returned to the Barn at Bury Court which is located near Farnham in Surrey. We set up to the right of the wedding ceremony and were able to play as the guests arrived and continued until the registrar made his announcements. During the ceremony we played pieces that the bride and groom had especially selected from our repertoire.
After the ceremony, we re-located to the courtyard which was just outside the ceremony room. As it was an overcast day, the wedding venue had very kindly set up a gazebo for us and we continued playing as guests assembled with drinks. The music continued until the wedding party made their way back inside for the wedding breakfast.
