On Saturday, the quartet performed for a wedding service held at St Edith’s Church, in the picturesque village of Monks Kirby, Warwickshire. We provided music for half an hour before the ceremony started, the bridal entrance, signing of the register and exit of the married couple. We also accompanied three hymns: Lord of All Hopefulness, Give me Joy in My Heart and Jerusalem.

After the ceremony, we moved to a very small village Green, opposite the church and entertained guests for a short period of time as canape’s and drinks were served. Before long, the bridal car made it’s way a few hundred yards further on to the reception venue. As we weren’t required to play for this part of the day, we finished with a selection of upbeat music as the guests left to go to the reception.
