Wedding in Great Brington and Reception at Dodmoor House

By vaughan • August 24, 2011 • Posted in: Weddings

Last Saturday we played for a wedding in the beautiful church of St Mary’s in the little village of Great Brington in Northamptonshire. We played as guests entered the church and performed Pachelbel’s Canon for the entrance of the bride. For the signing of the register we played Boccherini’s minuet and Bach’s Sheep May Safely Graze and for the exit of the married couple, an excellent organist played the traditional Wedding March by Mendelssohn.

After  this we swiftly re-located to the reception at nearby Dodmoor House, we set up outside under a gazebo to provide music for the arrival of the first guests. Throughout the afternoon, we kept guests entertained with a selection of upbeat music which was enjoyed by all.
