String Duo for a wedding Reception at the Three Horseshoes, Radnage

Yesterday, Julia and I performed as a violin / cello string duo for a wedding reception held at the Three Horseshoes in Radnage. It was a warm, sunny day and we were positioned in an enclave within the marquee which was perfect both for the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast.

We mainly played a selection of classical pieces as guests enjoyed drinks in the back garden (with beautiful views) and as they passed us by many of them commented how nice the music was and how well it fitted in with the feel of the day.

During the wedding breakfast we played a variety of upbeat modern numbers, with the groom selecting four of his favourites near the end of our set!
