Wedding at Gaynes Park, Essex

By vaughan • July 10, 2011 • Posted in: Weddings

Last Sunday, the quartet played for a wedding at Gaynes Park near Epping in Essex. It was a very hot day and as a result, much ’setting up’ time was spent attempting to find a shady place in the ceremony room which was exposed to the full glare of the sun. Once we had draped a sheet across the rafters, we played as the guests arrived and provided music during the ceremony.

After the ceremony, the guests moved outside and we were able to join them and entertain people during the photographs and reception drinks. We finished our playing by performing during the wedding breakfast and managed to greet the happy couple who were very pleased with the music.
