Wedding at Orsett Hall, Essex

By vaughan • June 18, 2011 • Posted in: Weddings

Yesterday the quartet were asked to play for a wedding held at Orsett Hall, near Grays in Essex.

We started by playing a handful of pieces as guests waited in the ceremony room before launching into Pachelbel’s Canon in D  for the entrance of the bride. After the ceremony itself, guests assembled in the adjacent bar area and by opening a set of double doors we were able to play to them during the drinks reception.

The music was appreciated by many guests as well as the bridal couple. The bride in particular found the entrance music very emotional and seemed delighted at the quartet’s contribution to the day.
