Manor House Music String Quartet Weblog

Wedding in Gloucestershire

By vaughan • June 7, 2011 • Posted in: Weddings

On Saturday, the quartet were booked to perform at a wedding in rural Gloucestershire. The event took place in a barn with the quartet setting up at the back to provide music as the guests arrived for the ceremony. We co-ordinated the timing of the music with the registrar so that we began as the bride entered and also played two pieces during the signing of the register, finishing with a celebratory piece for the exit of the married couple.

We then provided music as guests enjoyed drinks outside and finished by playing for around an hour during the wedding breakfast.
