Wedding at the Oakley Court Hotel near Windsor
Last Saturday, we played for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast at the Oakley Court Hotel in Water Oakley, Berkshire. We began by playing in a decked area directly outside the bar, sheltered by umbrellas. Unfortunately, it was a fairly windy day so we had to retreat to a sheltered passageway nearby where our music could still be heard by the guests.
Later we moved to the dining area and performed during the wedding breakfast. As a string duo, we fitted perfectly into a corner of the room in close proximity to the top table and played a variety of modern pieces hand selected by the bridal couple.
