Wedding at Newland Hall, Essex

By vaughan • April 22, 2011 • Posted in: Weddings

Last Saturday, Reiad (viola) and myself returned to Newland Hall in Roxwell, Essex to play for a wedding on a warm spring day. It is always a pleasure to play at Newland Hall as the staff are so warm and friendly, making us extremely welcome and the venue itself is picturesque.

Before and during the ceremony, we were able to play outside as the weather was fine and we only had to move inside right at the very end of the drinks reception as the temperature dropped slightly and guests began to move into the marquee. We continued to play during the receiving line and as speeches were due to be held at the beginning of the wedding breakfast, this was a natural time for us to depart.
