String duo for a Birthday Party at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons
On Saturday evening, Becky (cellist) and myself provided music for a special 21st Birthday celebration, held at Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons at Great Milton in Oxfordshire. We have performed at this venue several times as it is quite local to us and ideally suited for a string duo. The function was held in the Milton Suite which is perfect for two instruments due to its intimacy and the ability of a string duo to move easily between areas as guests flow from one room to another. We played a huge variety of music and our two sets of playing were sandwiched around a delightful performance from Sarah Goss (Harpist).
