Wedding at the Old Bridge Hotel, Huntingdon
Yesterday, Ali (cellist) and myself performed as a string duo for a wedding held at the Old Bridge Hotel in Huntingdon. The hotel is a distinctive, ivy clad building on the Huntingdon ring road and has a lovely ceremony room ideal for either a duo or a string quartet. We provided music as guests entered and played pieces for the couple to both enter and exit to, as well as during the signing of the register. Everyone then went across the courtyard and down into the basement where they enjoyed some late October sunshine and we played just inside a pair of French doors so that the music could drift out and be heard by everyone.
