Wedding at Woburn Sculpture Gallery

Yesterday, the quartet were booked to play for a wedding held in the Sculpture Gallery at Woburn. As this venue is very near to us we have played there many times as both a quartet and a string duo for weddings, functions and other celebrations.

We were asked to play for the wedding ceremony, with a separate piece of music for the bridesmaids entrance (Pachelbel’s Canon) and the Wagner’s Bridal Chorus for the entrance of the bride, so this had to be timed quite carefully to avoid a large gap.

Afterwards we entertained guests with an upbeat selection of pieces chosen by the bride and groom - as we were positioned in the bar area, plenty of people enjoyed the music as they made their way up to collect their celebratory drinks.
