Wedding at Rowhill Grange, Kent
On Friday, Becky (cellist) and I travelled down to Dartford in Kent to play for the wedding ceremony of a couple getting married at Rowhill Grange Hotel and Utopia Spa. On a beautiful September day we set up our stands to the side of the aisle next to a pagoda in the grounds of the hotel. We rehearsed before guests started to congregate and there was a happy and celebratory atmosphere to the whole day. After the ceremony, guests remained outdoors to enjoy glasses of champagne in the warm sunshine and have their photographs taken.
The music was perfectly timed, ending as the guests entered for the wedding breakfast and many people including the brides mother and sister commented on how special the string duo had made the day.
