Wedding at the Bear of Rodborough Hotel
On Thursday, Ali (cellist) and I travelled across to Gloucestershire to perform as a violin and cello duo for a wedding held at the Bear of Rodborough Hotel.
Thursday weddings are becoming increasingly popular and we have several booked in for both 2010 and 2011 - perhaps by getting away from peak Saturdays, there is a greater availability of venues and wedding suppliers.
As this wedding had approximately 50 guests, a string duo was perfect and we performed a wide selection of music for the ceremony and drinks reception. As the couple getting married had flown in from Australia with many friends and family, there were a real mixture of nationalities present.
