Wedding in Leicestershire
On Sunday, we travelled up to Leicestershire as a quartet to perform at a wedding breakfast. The event was taking place later on in the day between 5pm and 7.30pm and the bride and groom had carefully hand picked a selection of all their favourite pieces to be performed during the meal and as usual, these had all been put into the folders in the correct order to minimise any disruption or gaps between pieces.
As it was a nice day, the back doors to the wedding breakfast room were open and guests were enjoying the sunshine outside during photographs. As soon as we arrived and set up, we were welcomed by the groom and brides father. After the speeches we were called on to play a very special request which was a personal favourite of the bride and which we had especially arranged for the day - the couple seemed to love it and we were all really pleased that it had gone down so well.
