Wedding in the Sculpture Gallery at Woburn
Yesterday, we returned once more to another local venue to us - the Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey. It is always a pleasure to play there as the staff are so hospitable and the venue is so suited to a string quartet.
We were asked to provide music for the drinks reception and the bride and groom had selected a list of all their favourites from our playlist page for us to perform. As the weather was rather grey and cloudy, we remained indoors, utilising the raised area at the far end of the gallery to help us project acoustically. We received some warm comments from several guests and are looking forward to playing at Woburn again very soon.
