Music for a joint 60th birthday party….

By vaughan • July 9, 2010 • Posted in: Functions and Events

At the weekend, Adrian (viola) and I were asked to play for a joint 60th birthday celebration. The party was held at the Management Development CentreĀ  which is part of Cranfield University as one of the couple who were celebrating their birthday works there. We performed a selection of classical and light music with a list requested by the clients who had enjoyed choosing all their favourite pieces to be played. As the weather was warm we were able to play outside, shaded by a gazebo (to protect the varnish on our instruments). We then moved indoors to play in one of the conference rooms and entertained guests of all ages, including small children - whilst the adults enjoyed a glass of wine.
