Wedding String Quartet at Crockwell Farm, Northamptonshire

Wedding String Quartet at Crockwell Farm, Northamptonshire – Last week the Manor House String Quartet were fortunate enough to spend another glorious sunny Saturday afternoon providing music for a wedding at the lovely location of Crockwell Farm in rural Northamptonshire. The wedding room is a delightful area and the quartet fitted quite easily to the right hand side of the registrars’ desk, allowing the couple to approach it from either side for signing the register and photographs.

The bride entered to the ever popular Pachelbel Canon for string quartet (which you can hear us playing above) and during the signing of the register we were asked to play some more contemporary pieces. During the reception drinks, the string quartet were able to use the shade of a large tree to play outside and keep everyone entertained with a very varied programme covering just about every style of music, including modern pop songs for string quartet. Later, we provided music for the wedding breakfast which took place in a very impressive marquee which is a permanent fixture next to the bar area.
