Wedding By Candlelight
Somehow, having a wedding around Christmas or New Year gives a magical touch to the day. This was very much the case on New Years Eve when the quartet were booked to play for a wedding in Horsted Place Hotel in East Sussex where most of the proceedings took place by candlelight.
Because we knew that we would be playing in subdued light, we brought along our music stand lights with the batteries all double checked because it would be rather horrifying to not be able to read the music properly on the day!
The wedding was very personalised in many ways, with a specially commissioned piece being chosen for the entrance of the bride and the fact that the couple had hand picked all their favourite pieces of music for us to play during the reception.
