Music for an Office Party

By vaughan • December 17, 2009 • Posted in: Functions and Events

On Tuesday last week, we were invited back to a travel management company based near Liverpool Street in London to provide music for their annual Christmas party, held for staff and regular customers. This was the second time we’d played for this particular event and both times a string duo was perfect for the occasion, both in terms of space and volume. The office had been decked out with displays of exotic locations as well as festive lighting and the atmosphere was very good humoured which we matched with lively, upbeat music and Christmas carols.

Although the music provided was very much of a ‘background’ nature, there were many guests who listened intently and came up to talk to us at the end. When we were ready to leave, the lady who had looked after us presented us each with a bottle of wine which left us feeling Christmassy and very appreciated!
