Wedding at Barrington Hall in Cambridgeshire

By vaughan • October 6, 2009 • Posted in: Weddings

Last week we provided a string quartet for an outdoor wedding in the picturesque village of Barrington in Cambridgeshire. The ceremony was also outside with the bride arriving in a horse drawn carriage which was very impressive indeed! (and apparently a complete surprise for everyone including the bridal party).

Fortunately the weather remained idyllic, so we were able to use the shaded area to keep out of the hot sun. Our brief was to play classical music of our choice and therefore we felt that a selection of string quartets by Mozart and Haydn would be a perfect compliment to the day and a treat for us too because they are so rewarding to play.
